However, it may well be that the suggestions there are a bit too much  
for you,
in which case I'd echo somebody else's suggestion - bring laptop and  
modem to
next ILUG POTD (pint of the day == evening meet up in city centre pub  
where
people drink beer and talk tech - there's usually one early each  
month, location
and time advertised here) where you'll be bound to find somebody who'll
be able to help you get it going.
