And I guess those really into music sharing will just route via an
anonymous proxy!
I also take issue with the music industries claims of how much money
they lose. Stopping a free download does not translate into a €12 sale -
markets are elastic, its basic economics, out of the 100 people who
download for free how many would actually buy that same item at full
price? 5%? ... 1%? How much do they really lose - maybe not as much as
they claim.
