[ILUG] SMART Telecom update?

Hello all,

A few years ago I pinged the group about Smart Telecom, and/or other
non-Eircom DSL options.  There didn't seem to be a lot of viable options
then.
So, given the s***storm that we've just experienced vis a vis P2P and "three
strikes", It's probably worth pinging the list
again to see what other non-Eircom options we have for decent broadband
access.

Anyone able to related stories, good or bad?
