[ILUG] Recommend a printer/MFU, please

Hello,

I would like to print out things - primarily stuff for my child, which is
often in colour, usually downloaded.

So I need a printer which would print colour, work with Linux (the main home
station runs Debian Etch but an upgrade to Lenny is planned), and have
lowest possible cost per page (this may mean "good compatibles available in
Ireland"). I would prefer it to be an MFU, i.e. copy and scan (scanner
working under Linux would be good, but not essential). And I do not care for
high quality photo prints (probably easier to get them in the shop, for the
rare case they are needed).

Finally, I'd really not like to pay more than 200 Euro. (OK, 300 if the page
price is really really really good.)

Any advice?
