Yes you are correct, the session would be XXX.NODE

Currently a real one looks like
JSESSIONID=C5A5613DA30561C9C1F6DED0F3F8BFF2.nodes001

however mod_proxy_ajp seems not to obey the route and generally
redirects to nodes003 or others. Anyone but the one its supposed to
send it to.
