I use the exact setup you mention with tv_grab_uk_rt. You just need to 
add the channels manaully to mythtv. I just wrote a script to do it. 
Might have taken 10 mins. Grab the sky channels for ireland from some
Page and then parse it to add the xmltvid. Mythweb is very handy then
For tweaking the setup. I feed FreeSat, Sky and NTL anaolog into my myth 
boxes. I could give you a mysql dump of the relevant channels but I use 
trunk so tables *may* be different. I also have my IR blaster changing 
the Sky channel if you need help with that.
