Fw: [ILUG] Sound Failing To Initialise (Ubuntu)

What sound kernel is used by his sound card? I had a recent problem
with my own due to the lack of support for the hda-intel kernel. If
it's the same as the problem I had I'll forward on a guide when I
finish work.
