Ok admins feel free to hose this thread. For some reason a secondary PCM
channel was created that took me a while to find, I had to unmute it.
It should't be there in the first place and now my sound channel has changed
with the old one being there (PCM-1 as opposed to PCM-2) but I've managed to
get it working again.
