[ILUG] any thoughts on vyatta?

Hi,
I've been looking at Vyatta over the last while. For those who haven't
seen it, they package up a debian-based linux distribution with a Web and
CLI interface which is apparently somewhat like Juniper's JunOS. The idea
is that rather than buying an expensive router or firewall you can buy a
commodity x86 server, throw in extra NICs as needed, install Vyatta on it,
(optionally) pay for a support contract and use the interface to get
something somewhat similar. The interface is apparently in turn
configuring a bunch of traditional tools such as iptables, isc-dhcpd,
quagga, dnsmasq, squid, etc.

Is anyone using or testing Vyatta? Does anyone have any opinions to share?
We're thinking of testing it out in some less critical role just to see but
if anyone else has tried it, it would be interesting to hear.
Thanks in advance,
Gavin
PS By the by, one of their employees is Stephen Hemminger who gave a talk
on developments in linux networking for ILUG last year.
