If as the blog said it works exactly the same way as floppy disks do 
by trying the usb drive first aren't we going to spend the next 20 years
"fixing" laptops by plugging out the pen drive?!?

If that's the case I'm against it.

If the pc/laptop checks every drive for a bootsble partition I'm also
against it because it will increase boot time.

You would need to be able activate/deactivate the feature in the BIOS and
in my opinion it should be off by default - maybe we have that already?

I'm a big fan of booting from usb. I ran linux on an external drive for 
two years in college. I had no broadband at home so i brought my 
"system" into college for work and updates!!

Just had to make sure no sysadmin was watching!!
