[ILUG] developing for Symbian S60on *Nix/Linux

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has done this before, and if so what tips 
would they have?

Also, more general question: Write to Java MIDP 2.0 (+ maybe assorted 
other mobile and Nokia APIs) or to Symbian S60 3rd Ed. C/C++ 
platform?

(The new Maemo platform would be even more interesting, but the N900 
is ferociously expensive - the only phone running it for now).
