ISPs do not filter emails, it is the end point responsibility. The
last thing an ISP would want is someone pointing the finger and
saying: "you blocked some of my mail".

I find it redundant if you have your own MTA. Especially since I like
to know what is filtering and I'd rather make a mistake than
contacting eircom about their filtering.

I have found clam with amavis being a better combination than spam
assassin alone.
