[ILUG] Upgradeing NICs' to Gb

Got a nas: http://tinyurl.com/mbgduv (Iomega 1TB model)
(Linux based)

But it has taken almost 2 hours to copy
59.7GB from an F11 box to it.
same subnet.

I think the slowness maybe due to the F11 10/100 nic.
Am I right in this?

Netgear, due to seeing somewhere, you should try keep everything
from same manufacturer if possible, all my routers wired\wireless are
Netgear, urban legend?
