Have the following added to F12 fstab
//storage01/store01 /home/frank/cifs cifs
credentials=/etc/auto.smb.storage01,rw 0 0
Used gconf-editor to:
/system/smb/workgroup/mylan
Can access the shares on nas, can copy to them.
But cannot save directly to them, from any website
All files on nas shares sem to be owned by
remote root:owner, group:users.
Same user and p\w "frank"
is on both machines
On client F12, user id 500, remote nas user id 1001.
If I try from F11, sudo nautilus, still cannot change permissions on nas
files/dirs: Sorry, could not change the owner of "Public_Media": Error
setting owner: Permission denied.
Haven't found any useful info on web. (Iomega forum)
