Hi Andrew,

Ta for response. How I'm handling it at the moment is as you describe.
I considered fixing the network scripts, however that would be worse
for another sysadmin to figure out should I depart. Figure they will
eventally look in rc,local and go eureka.

On the xen side of things, yeah, I've tried let xen play with the
network.... don't want to do that anymore, became a pain, though that
being said, I must check it out again.  It seems the easiest way for
bonded vlan tagged nets being available is to have the admin create
them before hand. But yes, had I used XEN I may not have had this
issue (But prob others :)
