Indeed and I'm not one of these people that wants to be able to run OpenOffice on my mobile phone. But the UX doesn't have to be some fvwm95 thing from the 90's just because it's based on a GNU/Linux runtime. I think webOS has shown that you can have a visually rich mobile UX on standard GNU/Linux (Palms hardware and execution aside, by all accounts webOS is a fine OS and UX).
I'm also a MeeGo fanboi too supposedly and I think they'll come out with some good stuff. I love the Netbook UX based on Clutter.
