Haha - yes - it's usually based around a convection cooling system,
either pulling in fresh air from the outside and filtering it using the
convection currents or using heat exchangers to the outside world.
Commercial data centres also typically build in the option for cooling
with more traditional means as well, just in case we get warm weather,
but given the cost of electricity to run compressors for cooling, it's
well worth exploring free-to-air cooling, particularly with a climate
like Ireland.
