Any 3G dongle that implements SMS mode (AT+CMGF=1) should work.
I have an old Huawei E220 here that works perfectly. I use comgt with
some custom scripts to handle the messages.
If you are sending a *large* amount of messages each month, one of the
€20 PAYG free texts plans from one the Irish networks might be the best
option.
