[ILUG] Filesystem ACLs versus permissions in smb.conf

Hi all

I have been wondering for a while now what people think about using EAs
and ACLs to administer permissions on a file system level rather than
using smb.conf. I much prefer Filesystem ACLs, yet they appear to be the
exception. Why?
