[ILUG] OT: Mobile Broadband Router for home lan. Right Track?

Very happy with my upc internet.
But occasionally it does go off for hours on end.

As I have a mobile broadband stick,
would like to be able detatchto just,
move my  Negear cat5 from the upc modem\router,
to something,
so all my settings don't have to be re-invented\inserted.
