I saw that the other day. Having a driver broken for 2 months is pretty
poor, but at least ATI are liaising with Patrick in his capacity as
fglrx maintainer so I guess that is something. I wonder is there a copy
of that fglrx 11-11 beta floating around?

I'm currently using held Xorg and fglrx packages. I'd like to, and have
tried to, use the radeon driver, but it doesn't seem to like my
dual-head setup. I only managed to tolerate about 10 minutes of
xorg.conf debugging before I gave up and went back to using the held
packages. I guess xkcd [1] is once again proved correct.
