One issue on an "Irish" chart of accounts...

As has been mentioned already, one objective is the likely need to either:
   - build interfaces to meet the ROS/CRO specs for filing returns, etc, or
   - build extracts from the DB to feed into any of the established 
ROS/CRO systems.

In the latter case, it would be nice, but presumably challenging, if we 
could adopt one comprehensive national coding structure. If every type 
of Irish business (or, worse, every actual "business") were to have 
their own coding structures, then building a generic "extract" tool 
would probably be much more complicated.
