While Ireland's contribution to proprietary software is well
chronicled, its contribution to open source software (OSS) is less
well understood. As part of his Masters dissertation, Trinity College
student Graham Kenny is seeking to gain a deeper insight into the OSS
developer community in Ireland and into the nature of its contribution
to OSS projects. If you are active in the OSS developer community and
have 10 minutes to spare, we would encourage you to respond to this
survey -  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/OpenSourceIreland. Note that
this is entirely voluntary. Individual responses will be aggregated
anonymously.
