[ILUG-Social] Hitting back at banks..

Afternoon gents... I wonder if any of you saw the article in the Sunday Times.
Basically the gist is they are trying to get everyone to write 5 cheques for 1p
to friends on April 1st, IIRC the article said that it costs the banks roughly
27p to process each cheque.. thus it costs the banks a fortune... 

As it happened I got my Fee advice statement from A.I.B. yesterday... and I'm
really really annoyed... (I've had the account for years...) I'm getting
screwed for everything, lodging/widthdrawals/cheques everything...  I haven't
investigated any of the other banks in this country, but I'd change banks right
now I'm so annoyed..

Just wondering what the groups thoughts on the subject are...
