Ooh, thems fighting words :-)

Interestingly enough, quite a few big applications for the windowing
environment on the Acorn Archimedes were written either in BBC BASIC, or ARM
assembler.

Out of curiosity, what did software tend to get written in on the
Amgia/Atari?
