 I beg to differ. Languages like C++ and possibly Perl to an extent, which
support the "There's more than on way to do it" principal, can be very
easy for poor and average programmers to fuck things up, make it look/work
bad etc. Just as you can do OO in any language (GTK's object system in C
for instance), you can do maintainable code with any system - it's just
that it's easier in C, say than Perl, because there are less ways of doing
things. Yes you can write maintainable code, but it's more effort. You can
do your own collection in C, but you are going to leak a lot more memory
than if you used Java/TCL/Perl.
