Ah - this is probably the dark-skinned person in the agglomeration of
combustible material - I was told in Eircom the other day (when I
specifically questioned the matter) that the equipment provided when you get
Hi-Speed does have two analog ports.
However, John didn't get Hi-Speed, which is Eircom marketing talk for an
upgrade from POTS to ISDN. As a matter of interest, what did they charge for
installation of the ISDN line ? If it's less than £100 more than a POTS
install, then there's no financial argument (i.e. you can't say "Well, I paid
as much as (if not more than) a HiSpeed customer (i.e. POTS install +
HiSpeed upgrade fee) so why can't I have the NT1+).

Definitely, although by the time you pay for delivery etc. . . .
Me, I'd be calling Eircom and saying that you were promised equipment with
analog ports (I wouldn't say NT1+ - don't want to sound like you know too
much) and you were promised that telephone ports would be installed (as you
mentioned) and when is the job going to be completed, please ? Eircom is
such a disorganised place that service agent B is not going to be able to
say that service agent would never have made such a promise to you.
