Once you tell them that you are a resident many hotel bars will server you
on Good Friday.
And you can always stock up in the off license the day before.

Of course i only realised this after my birthday coinciding with Good
Friday one year.
I'll just get hammered on Thursday instead and spend Friday recovering.

I think its just us crazy roman catholics that go in for all the fasting
and self deprevation malarky but i am not sure.
