Hmm, I wonder if I could take my local chippy to court over not serving
meat (burgers, sausages, etc) on Good Friday, all you can get is fish and
chips, nothing else. I questioned him over it last year and he replied
quite matter of factly that you can't eat meat on Good Friday (they're
devout Catholics). I don't know about anyone else but I can eat meat any
day of the year I like, regardless what the Church or a chipper says.
