Just enjoyed the passage with Newton sticking a needle in his eye.

By the way did you notice the spelling of Boyle paper on light ?
Colour was spelt as color? Is that the original title ??

Indeed, and longititude by Dava Sobel, which gives a great background on
some of the same characters (hook, flamsteed, newton, and so on ).
