Something similar myself. I had no major objection to your original mail
and I'm sorry you took my initial response to be an attack. Your
follow-up irked me somewhat however, I never appreciate being
misinterpretted and publicly told to shut up, hense my backlash.
Apologies.

Moved back to social purely because I don't think anyone on the main
list really wants this in their mailbox. Honestly they don't actually
care and it'll get us both killfiled but good. I've left you in the
Reply-To field so you don't have to be subscribed to social, which is
*really* where this thread belongs. If you want to check whether
anything else is being said you can browse through the archives at
http://www.linux.ie/lists/pipermail/social but I tend to try and leave
the main list linux related as much as possible.

I was indeed, sorry about that. That would be the aforementioned
backlash. Just throwing my toys out of the pram, don't mind me.

Yes, I assumed you were reading the 'Introduction to Programming' thread
which started all of this. The comment was in reference to the debate
over John Looney's .sig which states:

"For astrology and the rest to flourish it is only necessary that those
with an IQ in double figures do nothing."

Like I said, flashback humour.

Stephen
