        The next meeting of The System Administrators' Guild
        of Ireland will take place on Tuesday the 12th of
        August, at 7 p.m. The venue is Trinity College Dublin,
        courtesy of our friends in the Dublin University Networking
        Society : the exact location will be fixed shortly.
        
        Ronan Cunniffe will give a talk on "Long-term Data Archiving".
        
        Afterwards, we will be holding the inaugural Annual
        General Meeting of the Guild. We've had a year of talks,
        *several* pints and done a lot of work on issues such as:
        
        - Traffic Data Retention
        - The ICT Stakeholders group
        - Raising the profile of the Guild
        
        It's time to take stock of what we've accomplished and
        to decide the future direction of the Guild. If you make
        no other meeting this year, please make this one.
        
        I will circulate an agenda shortly.
