I could do with transactions right now. MySQL does support transactions
using BDB tables but it's very much in the testing phase. The
replication support in MySQL is practically ready to go into production
AFAIK, but the transaction support is still quite buggy, from what I
remember reading on the MySQL list. Yes, I coded around it, but it isn't
pretty.

Oh, I dunno. What I'd like is to be able to carry out joins across
databases lying on different machines.. that'd rock :)
